I Ordered fish. It was Doable, but l Expected More due to the Area... I haven't Tried the BBQ yet, and I'm Hoping it makes up for the fish, Although, I'm Not a Big fan of BBQ... I Love Catfish More.... So, you CAN'T really expect a Restaurant that Specializes in BBQ to be Great at Frying fish. The catfish had it's Own Taste.... Just Not what l Expected. I'm from Mississippi, So l really Expected the Fish to be Awesome... Had they Served Louisiana Hot Sauce, My Experience May have been More Positive.... But, Once l try the BBQ, I Hope to Have a better Review😎

Just grabbed a one meat bake potato with brisket and ranked 6 stars which is off the scale. Honey I blew up the potato big and meat so good I slapped my momma. Worth a trip if you never have ate here.

Today, our motorcycle group took a short ride over to Blacksmoke BBQ after our chapter meeting. This is a brand new BBQ joint, no smoky grease hanging on the walls. Usually that would be a "bad" sign but I was pleasantly surprised. It is a walk up and order from the handwritten menu kinda place. The menu appeared to have all the staples on it, so of course, I ordered brisket. The food was prepared quickly and brought to our table, no easy feat when you consider that our group filled almost half the restaurant.

So far the best bbq iv had. Ribs fall off the bone, there corn is off the chain. And the best part is your not tired and groggy after you eat. I absolutely love it.

Amazingly friendly staff and the food...the food is delicious! CJ Burger will change your life. With brisket or pulled pork its the bomb. Plenty of parking and the inside is spaced out so you don't feel like you're sitting on top of each other

Great service and food. Most of us had the brisket in various forms...sliced...baked potato etc. And it was excellent as were the sides. My husband had their catfish and loved it. Freshly fried. Giant pieces and pickly tartar sauce. Home made banana pudding too!!!

There was a situation that got addressed by the owner. Their was a fair explanation for the situation and I was just amazed by how far the owner went to make sure he reached out to me. Just the conversation and time made things right. Genuinely concerned and nice I wish there were more people like this in the world. Food is awesome and I will be returning back. 💙

I love this place I drive all the way from Oak Cliff just to have this Great Customer Service and Excellent BBQ the sad part I have other BBQ places near me but there service is horrible especially Odoms BBQ never again will I ever go there. Blacksmoke is all I need.

Great place to bring friends.A hidden gem thats not really hidden at all! (because its off 635 and Northwest)We walked in for the first time, with a coupon like an old couple, and now we're having our Wedding After Party there.

This is very good BBQ, maybe in the Top 5 in Dallas. Too bad it is kind of hidden in a strip center behind a bank because if it was on NW Hwy itself, there would be a line at lunch. We had chopped brisket sandwiches with a side order of sausage. The sausage is the best in Dallas. The brisket is close to the top also. I loved the potato salad. I will definitely return.

I ordered off of Uber eats wow wow wow this food was wonderful seasoned just right I had no complaints I’m debating on whether I’m going to the actual location today when I get off of work. I had the 2 meat plate with fried oakra and backed beans ribs and Sausage no complaints next I’m trying the sliced beef and chicken

Delicious smoke flavor. Sausage, brisket, pulled pork and ribs are so good it's hard to stop eating them. That bbq sauce, green beans and fried okra puts this over the top. I'll be back. The owners and staff are very good at what they do. You've got To check this place out.

Awesome meats, green beans not so much. But the meats are amazing and IMO that's more important than sides

They have better smoked sausage than Railhead in FTW, just sayin.

Incredible. We have travelled 9000 miles from Australia for a bbq road trip around USA and this has been the best we found, and we did quite a few! Brisket is cooked for 14 hours overnight and then rested. The ribs were so tender the bone fell out of the meat! The flavour is super Smokey and the house made bbq sauce is by far the best we found. The owner is passionate about bbq and it shows. Little wonder how they have won multiple bbq cook offs. These guys and this restaurant will feature on some TV show one day. Do not miss.

First time here since new owners. Lunch special 5.99 brisket sandwich and mac&cheese. It was a lot of food the brisket was really soft the mac&cheese must have been homemade it’s not like anything I have had at other bbq restaurants. This is a great hole in the wall place I can’t wait to come back

Wings are good.. must try the grilled cheese cheese brisket sandwich with some spicy BBQ on the side . I will definitely be back for some more.

First time there and I had the 3 meat plate. Everything taste delicious and was portioned big. Definitely filled me up and going back soon! Oh and the spicy BBQ was off the chain !

First time trying Blacksmoke and Bones BBQ, meat fell off the bones. Will try again. Great, clean and well manner employee's. Try the banana pudding it was awesome.

Fantastic food! Brisket was delicious. Barbecue sauce might be the best in DFW! Also had the turkey and it was seasoned quite well. Tenderness and consistency of meat very nice. Owner was cordial and friendly and staff knew their stuff.

Nothing better than some real good BBQ while in quarantine. The Mac n cheese was so cheesy and full of flavor! And I have no words for the baked beans. They are absolutely delicious!! Can’t wait to try this place in person!

There is a reason that we are the only customers on a Sunday afternoon. We rarely see a car in the lot so decided to give this place a try; UTTER DISAPPOINTMENT.Empty restaurant but the booth that the staff must have eaten at was filled with takeout from someplace else and an absolute mess. While we were eating the staff just sat around talking leaving the mess for any other customer to see. Men's restroom has not been cleaned in a while.Brisket was almost average. Portion size modest, served with about 2oz of sauce. Sides were out of a can, though the fries were fresh. The coke dispenser needs to be adjusted; delivering watered down, flat drinks. Chilling the CO2 would help a lot as would checking the brix setting for the syrup. Hoped to find a hidden gem, found a dud.
